The VD Arquitetura office was formed in 1990 and its technical director is the founding partner and architect, Vera Domschke, who graduated from FAUUSP in 1981, and the partner architect, Carol Sacconi, who graduated from Escola da Cidade in 2012.

The projects developed by the firm encompass various scales, programs, and client types.

Throughout its 35 years, completed in 2025, VD Arquitetura has predominantly focused on the development of public and institutional works for collective use. Early in her career, Vera worked with the architect Vilanova Artigas, which was very decisive in shaping her work and production.

With the arrival of new partner Carolina Sacconi in 2018, there was an increase in the development of residential projects with construction management, marking a new phase for the firm.
