UN-GROUP Architecture was founded in 2020 by Yutian Wang and Xiaoyu Wang. It currently has studios in Beijing and Shanghai.

Since the establishment of the firm, our practice has focused on exploring the flexible meaning of the word "concept" in the broad context of globalization, so that it becomes an open framework system, creating a redefinition of the human settlement environment in the complex context of nature, city and countryside. We focus on the topological application of reciprocity and convertible forms between cross-scale types, where the UN-GROUP is a constant cycle of transformation, cycling in the two seemingly contradictory states of unfinished and finished, coexisting in a free and polysemy manner.

Our practice covers urban design, architecture, interior design, landscape and art installations. The firm's works have won many awards in international competitions, including the first prize in the spring pavilion architecture design competition in Amsterdam, the second prize in the North Korean border underground bath architecture design competition, the second prize in the Chengdu Jincheng Park No.4 Lot Architectural Design Competition, the second prize in the Tianfu Cultural and Creative Forest Architectural Renewal Design Competition in Tianfu New Area, the second prize in the Kaizhou International New City International Design Competition, etc., and was invited to participate in the 2019 Shenzhen Architecture and Urban Biennale - 'Eyes of the City' Exhibition.
