Mozhao Architecture Design Studio was founded in Shenzhen in 2015 by Mr. Zeng Guansheng.

Mozhao's design practice revolves around the concept of "placeliness." The design and creation process of architecture and space is closely related to the site environment: the region's topography and climate, the site's texture and natural conditions, local history and culture, and local materials and construction conditions.

Secondly, the firm uses practice to reflect on the social value and meaning of architecture, creating architectural spaces that integrate with the environment and possess humanistic care. The exploration of materials and construction is also at the core of Mozhao's design practice. Site-appropriate materials and construction methods can authentically tell the story of people's life trajectory and the characteristics of the place, serving as a medium for perceiving the vitality and time-tested sedimentation of architecture.
