Luiz Volpato (born in 1964 in Santa Catarina, Brazil) is a Brazilian architect and civil engineer, known for his work on large-scale projects in the public and private sectors. During his youth, he dedicated himself to the production and sale of surfboards, creating a chain of stores that operated for two decades. Simultaneously, he completed degrees in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and in Architecture and Urbanism from Positivo University, in addition to a specialization in Business Management from the Getulio Vargas Foundation. In 2007, he moved to London, where he participated in courses at the Architectural Association School of Architecture and the City Lit Institute. He collaborated with the firms Populous and Buro Happold on the development of the Arena da Floresta project for the 2014 World Cup, focusing on sustainability.

Currently, Volpato leads his own firm, based in Curitiba, and is responsible for projects in various areas, such as infrastructure, housing, sports, and the automotive market. Among his projects and involvements, highlights include the expansion of the Jupiá Hydroelectric Dam, the Taboão da Serra Housing Complex (SP), the Curitiba Shopping Center, the Stadium and Training Center of Club Athletico Paranaense, the Alphaville Graciosa Club, the new Vila Belmiro stadium of Santos Futebol Clube, the Arena Cruzeiro do Sul, the Arena de Joinville, the Porto Belo Island Resort, the restoration of historical heritage in Curitiba, Villa Sophia, MasterChef nas Nuvens at Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas (RJ), the Haras Valente mega-real estate development, and the itinerant Giant Christmas Ball, which started in Curitiba and moved to Porto Maravilha, in Rio de Janeiro, where it was crossed by the tracks and wagons of the VLT (light rail).

Currently, his office develops several innovative projects and acts as an "in-house" firm for Volkswagen projects in Brazil and Latin America, with strong specialization in the automotive market.
