Founded in 2017, Edgar is an alter ego, an acronym for its three founders, all graduates of the Bordeaux National School of Architecture and Landscape. The firm was created by Stanislas Elluin, Igor Duolé, and Ludovic Gillon, driven by a shared passion for architecture. The complementary backgrounds of its founders shape Edgar's "album," built upon a common culture centered on the analysis of inhabiting cultures and the design of urban systems, linking architecture to its era and composition to its meanings.

Edgar is based on the corner, practicing locally and readily available to its clients. The complementary skills of the founders (engineering, architecture, scenography, research, and the dissemination of architectural culture) have been complemented by the unique profiles of a rapidly expanding team. The way in which projects and areas of intervention are approached without preconceptions is reflected in the flexible structure of the teams leading each project. The strength of this collaborative work ensures an open vision of the profession, where the firm takes the time to discuss architecture and showcase its work, including behind-the-scenes glimpses of construction sites.
