We invariably seek the deeper meaning of a commission, subject, or context, and consistently conduct a concrete analysis of the real needs and wishes of our clients. Every commission represents an absolute challenge and a quest for the optimal answer to those needs. From there, we strive for subtly boundary-crossing and, in particular, sustainable architecture.

Creating good architecture in which it is pleasant for everyone to live, work, and stay—that is our driving force! Too little attention is paid to the impact an architect can have: after all, we determine how a building is experienced, how people enter, how they walk around inside, what views they get, how good they will feel there...

In short, as architects, we influence how high-quality architecture can have a positive impact on the state of mind of its users: how it can increase efficiency, how it can stimulate creativity, how it can reassure, how it can welcome and embrace...

For us, architecture is not just about selling pretty pictures, but at least equally about providing a solid technical foundation: air quality, acoustics, lighting levels, sustainability...
