Located in São Paulo, this garage was conceived as an integrated architecture and interior design project, created not only as a functional space for housing vehicles, but as an environment dedicated to the appreciation and display of a collection. The concept was based on transforming the garage into a private gallery, where architecture acts as a backdrop to highlight the vehicles and their unique characteristics.
The spatial organization was defined through different levels, creating a clear programmatic division and a dynamic experience throughout the space. The ground floor houses the main vehicle display and parking area, designed as a large open space that allows different arrangements and enhances the visual perception of each piece.
At the rear, living areas complement the environment, creating spaces for gathering and interaction, bringing the garage closer to a social atmosphere. The lower level accommodates the workshop, a dedicated area for vehicle maintenance and care, integrated into the overall concept of the project.
This separation allows the technical functions to operate independently while keeping the main floor free for exhibition and interaction with the collection. The mezzanine level contains the office space, creating a visual connection with the main area and allowing the workspace to remain connected to the daily activities of the garage without interfering with the exhibition space.
This relationship between the different levels reinforces the idea of a continuous environment, where work, collection, and social experiences coexist. The architecture was designed with a contemporary industrial language, characterized by exposed metal structures, large glazed surfaces, and a neutral material palette that works as a backdrop for the vehicles.
Lighting and spatial design were carefully planned to emphasize the shapes, colors, and details of each automobile, making them the main elements of the composition. The result is a hybrid space that combines garage, gallery, and social environment, where architecture and interiors work together to create an immersive experience, placing the vehicles as the protagonists of the project.
