Located in Iporanga, Guarujá, the residence is established as a precise gesture of adaptation to the terrain and appreciation of the natural landscape. Designed in 2006 by the firm Ximenes Leite Arquitetura, led by architects André Leite and Bruna Ximenes, with collaboration from architect Mario Biselli, the house is based on a clear logic: organizing the volumes in order to enhance the views of the sea while ensuring privacy and comfort for the internal spaces. The project is structured around a main linear volume, elevated from the ground, which houses the social areas and opens widely to the landscape through large glazed planes.

This transparency allows a direct relationship between interior and exterior, dissolving physical boundaries and bringing nature into the house. In contrast, more opaque and precise planes organize the lateral enclosures and provide solar protection, creating a balance between lightness and solidity. The circulation is defined by a sequential access, guiding the user through a gradual transition between the exterior and interior, revealing the architecture progressively.

This path enhances the arrival experience and reinforces the reading of the suspended volume, which appears to rest lightly on the terrain. On the side facing the view, the leisure area is completely integrated with the interior space. The pool, positioned along the edge of the site, functions as a horizontal plane that extends the view toward the horizon, while the deck and social areas are articulated continuously, encouraging collective use and contemplation. The materiality reinforces the concept of the project: light surfaces, horizontal lines, and slender structural elements highlight a clean and timeless architecture. At the same time, the presence of the existing vegetation contributes to softening the insertion of the house, establishing a balanced dialogue between construction and nature. The result is a residence that combines constructive rationality and sensitivity to place, where architecture acts as a mediator between the terrain, the landscape, and the experience of inhabiting.
