KOFAN COFFEE SHOP is a third-wave coffee shop in the center of Kremenchuk. It’s a space where everything is arranged so that visitors can pause, focus on the taste of the coffee, a conversation, or their own state of mind.
The first hint of this experience begins even before you reach the coffee shop—with a sculpture of a little cappuccino man in the park across the street. This theme continues at the entrance, where a similar character greets you right at the door of KOFAN.
The interior is built on a single tonal principle. The walls, ceiling, wooden floor, furniture, lighting, and interior objects are all rendered in a unified warm cappuccino palette. This approach does not distract the attention; on the contrary, it unifies the space into a single cohesive sensation.
Texture plays a special role here. The surfaces of the walls and ceiling are uneven, three-dimensional, and come alive in the light and to the touch. They evoke associations with the layers of espresso and milk in a cup of cappuccino. The central wall, accented with a relief ornament, features the MAKHNO signature pattern—an interpretation of Ukrainian embroidery motifs that adds warmth and cultural depth to the space.
We paid special attention to the barista’s work area. At KOFAN, coffee is a craft that requires a precisely organized environment. That’s why the bar counter and work area are made of chrome-plated steel—a material that is honest, functional, and well-suited for open interaction with the process. This solution offers both practicality and visual clarity.
The space is defined not only by grand gestures but also by details. Solid wood furniture, GARLIK lamps above the tables, and long FLEITA ceramic lamps in the barista area—all these elements contribute to the overall atmosphere. They do not draw attention to themselves individually but support the integrity of the interior.
KOFAN COFFEE SHOP is a small space centered around a sense of warmth, pause, and inner comfort. Regardless of what is happening outside, inside everything is attuned to a simple yet essential state: to be here and live one’s moment in peace.
