The Quintas do Lago Praia dos Coqueiros project emerges from the relationship between architecture, nature, and urbanism. The initial challenge was to design a clubhouse that would enhance the view toward the lagoon without allowing the building to obstruct the landscape. The solution took the form of a two-level architectural concept. On the upper level, a linear plaza with a lookout extends from the sidewalk, guiding users toward the lagoon. On the lower level, the social spaces — gourmet deck, event hall, game room, gym, children’s playroom, pantry, and restrooms — connect to a large organic swimming pool with an infinity edge.
The project’s identity is defined by horizontal volumes and a raw, natural material palette. A concrete volume shapes the veranda, while stone walls structure the ramp. The helical staircase, composed of slatted wood and glass, functions as a sculptural element, linking the two levels and shaping the experience of movement through the space.
The event hall is an invitation to gathering: textures and warm tones create an environment where architecture and experience complement one another. The game room goes beyond entertainment — conceived for fluid encounters and varied lengths of stay. Its L-shaped layout defines uses without compromising integration, with wood, stone, and concrete establishing the atmosphere. The gym offers well-being within a spacious, integrated environment filled with natural light, where balanced materiality reinforces an active yet welcoming routine. At the opposite end, the children’s playroom — a glass cube — maintains a visual connection with the gourmet deck, allowing parents to supervise while enjoying the space. With light colors and curved furniture, the environment encourages free and sensory play. The deck itself opens toward the pool and the surrounding landscape, seamlessly integrating leisure and nature. Natural materials reinforce visual continuity between interior and exterior.
Access to the social level unfolds through the landscape design, guiding movement toward gathering spaces and connecting the path to shared areas, the pool, and views of the lagoon. More than a clubhouse, Quintas do Lago Praia dos Coqueiros proposes a sensitive architectural experience — where landscape, material, and form come together to create a place of permanence and contemplation.
