Agora UNI
2024

Ágora UNI, the newest building at Ágora Tech Park, accommodates a variety of office spaces and restaurants. Its site strategy connects two different levels: the lower level provides the main access from Perini Avenue and links directly to the woodland area, while the upper level extends the elevation of the existing buildings through a canopy terrace that houses restaurants and creates a balcony overlooking both the preserved forest and the park.

The atrium organizes arrival, vertical circulation, and the ground-floor programs, which function as a living lab designed to foster connections between universities, corporations, and government institutions.

The efficiency of the floor plan is interrupted by a series of internal voids that improve environmental comfort and promote visual interaction throughout the building. On the façade, kinetic art elements create visual dynamism.

All structural components are prefabricated and combined with industrialized building systems throughout most of the project, enabling a fast and partially dry construction process.

Ágora UNI, the third building within Ágora Tech Park, is organized around two distinct site levels. The main entrance, accessed from Perini Avenue, provides direct connection to the woodland area. At this level, a quadruple-height atrium structures the arrival experience, vertical circulation, and ground-floor programs. On the upper level, the canopy terrace extends the park’s north axis and connects seamlessly with the elevation of the previously completed buildings.

This elevated promenade frames views of both the preserved forest and the park on one side, while accommodating restaurants on the other. Internally, the building follows a pragmatic layout, with a central corridor and office spaces arranged along the perimeter. The structural grid accommodates offices of varying sizes and configurations.

This highly efficient organization is softened by strategically placed voids along the circulation areas, designed to enhance environmental comfort and encourage visual connections between users. The atrium serves as the building’s primary gathering space, intensifying visual interaction among workers and visitors.

All structural elements are prefabricated and combined with industrialized construction systems throughout most of the building, enabling a fast and partially dry construction process. This approach improves construction efficiency while reducing waste and on-site intervention.
