The house is located on a 4.5m x 18m plot within a newly developed resettlement area of the city, where the surrounding density remains relatively low. A generous green space sits directly in front of the site. The design team sought to create a scheme that maximizes views toward this green frontage while ensuring security, privacy, and natural ventilation.

In addition to three spacious bedrooms, the clients requested a large and open living-dining area suitable for extended family gatherings. Daylighting and the integration of green elements were also key priorities.

The main volume is positioned at the center of the plot, forming two courtyards at the front and rear. Inside, a sequence of split-level floors works alongside a large central skylight to bring light and airflow deep into the interior. On the ground floor, the staircase and kitchen are placed along one side, allowing ventilation to flow from the front courtyard to the back.

A defining feature of the project is the curved artificial-wood ceiling, which extends continuously from the interior to the outdoor balcony. The front facade incorporates layered greenery at the entrance gate, the balcony, and the rooftop terrace while the rear facade also includes planting outside the windows. These green layers filter direct sunlight and help maintain a cooler indoor environment. Throughout the project, the design team focused on sustainability and practicality, shaping each space according to the clients’ everyday needs while maintaining a home that is well-lit, naturally ventilated, and closely connected to nature.
