Silverline was born from the belief that Architecture and Construction should coexist organically, merging creative thinking and technical execution into a unified language. Founded in 2008 by architects Jorge Prata and Eduardo Soares, the practice positions itself as a studio where the precision of design is aligned with a deep commitment to place, function, and human experience.
Based in Vila Nova de Gaia, Silverline responds attentively to contemporary challenges, reflecting on evolving modes of habitation and the complex relationships between public and private space. Each project is seen as a unique opportunity for investigation and response — formal, functional, and emotional — to the physical, social, and cultural context in which it is embedded.
Silverline is structured around two complementary areas — Architecture and Construction — working in close collaboration to deliver integrated solutions, from concept to execution. This synergy allows us to carry each project with consistency, technical rigor, and a strong sense of authorship.
True to the idea that architectural vision is enriched through collaboration, Silverline has cultivated strategic partnerships with other creative agents. Among them, the ongoing collaboration with Melt81 Studio stands out, bringing an added layer of design sensibility and emotional depth to a number of our projects.
At Silverline, we strive to do more than build — we aim to craft architectural experiences that inspire, welcome, and endure.
