Pineda Monedero is an architecture studio founded in 2021 by Álex Pineda and Antón Monedero. Based in Barcelona, the studio approaches its practice as a scientific method grounded in unbiased analysis and the exploration of all possible options. Their aim is to evoke emotion through contrast, using both contemporary and traditional tools.

Álex Pineda (Sabadell, 1990) is an architect graduated from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (ETSAV), and also studied at the TU in Berlin. His professional experience spans both Barcelona and Mexico, where he lived and worked for two years.

Antón Monedero (Barcelona, 1990) is an architect graduated from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (ETSAV), and furthered his studies in Gothenburg. His work experience includes both urban planning and architecture in Barcelona and Beijing.

The studio has been or is currently shaped by the contributions of Alia Bennani, Anna Villarroya, and Jordi Rosa.
