Pianca Arquitetura is an architecture, design, and research firm founded in 2019 by Guilherme Pianca. The firm seeks to define its practice across different scales and project scopes: housing, design, exhibition design, furniture, and research – with the desire to establish a non-dogmatic approach to architecture.

In this way, each project is seen as an opportunity to reflect on professional practice and architectural language – seeking the most precise answer to the demands and constraints involved in each situation.

Guilherme Pianca is an architect and urban planner, graduated from FAU-USP (2012) and with a master's degree from FAU-USP (2017) in the area of history and foundations of architecture.

Professionally, he worked at MMBB Arquitetos from 2008 to 2015.

Notable collaborations include the Sous-Station Voltaire project with Paulo Mendes da Rocha and the coordination of the new library at the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA). From 2015 to 2018, he worked in partnership with Rafael Urano at the company Pianca+Urano. Currently, he maintains collaborations with several colleagues such as Arquipélago, Clube Works, Gabriel Sepe, Hideki Brandt, Quadradão, Sabiá Arquitetos, and Três Design. In the editorial field, he collaborated between 2015 and 2017 with the magazine Arquitetura e Urbanismo (AU-PINI) with reports on contemporary architecture and research monographs for the Document section, and was a member of the Contravento group from 2007 to 2018.

From 2017 to 2018, he was an assistant professor in the drawing group at Escola da Cidade. In 2016, he was a teaching assistant in the design area at FAU-USP.
