Completed doctoral coursework at Kogakuin University Graduate School in 2009 (Hatsuta Laboratory, Urban History, Architectural History). After working at Yoshihara Design Office, co-founded Drawing notes, a first-class architectural design office, in 2009. Reorganized into Meguro Architectural Research Institute Co., Ltd. in 2014 and assumed the position of Representative Director. Board member of do.co.mo.mo_japan (2017-2024), part-time lecturer at Jissen Women's University, and part-time lecturer at the Heritage Architect Training Course at Kyoto Institute of Technology.

Yamaguchi Sayu Yamaguchi architect​ Born in Tokyo. Graduated from the Department of Housing, Faculty of Home Economics, Japan Women's University in 2008, and completed her Master's degree in Architectural Planning at the same university in 2010. While enrolled in the Master's program at Japan Women's University, she co-founded the architectural design office Drawing notes. In 2014, the company was reorganized into Meguro Architectural Research Institute Co., Ltd., and she assumed the position of Representative Director.
