The maxberg office was established in Szczecin in 2010 at the initiative of architect Karol Nieradko . It owes its name to the prominent architect and urban planner of the early 20th century.

Max Paul Eduard Berg is primarily known as the architect of the city of Wrocław and the designer of the Jahrhunderthalle, later known as the People's Hall in Wrocław. However, he was born and graduated from his first school in his native Szczecin, where he also worked as an architect and in construction administration.
