We have built up extensive experience in projects at the sharp intersection of architecture and urban planning, where context takes center stage. In these projects, we can apply our vast typological knowledge in combination with a spatial research methodology. The scale of our projects spans between urban planning and individual homes, and falls within the realm of housing, healthcare, and repurposing and renovation.

In our design approach, context is central, and we seek the specifics of place and time. In analysis and research, the design may adopt an academic stance, whereby we take great pleasure in delving into architectural history. We talk, think, write, and teach architecture. But our designs must also be imaginable and recognizable. We love beautiful details.

Our office is located in Maastricht, and although our assignments are spread throughout the Netherlands, our cultural hub lies between Eindhoven, Liège, Brussels, Düsseldorf, and Cologne.
