LA OBRA is an architecture studio founded by Clara Dios. Clara Dios is an architect trained at the City College of New York and at the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Madrid (UPM) where she graduated with honors in the final project.
She began her professional career working at the architecture firm Soriano & Asociados, focusing on competition entries and architectural theory. She later moved to Santiago, Chile, where she collaborated with firms such as FAR frohn&rojas and with architect Cecilia Puga on the restoration and redesign of the Palacio Pereira. Upon returning to Madrid, she and Lara Resco won third prize in the Corral de Comedias Competition with a project based on the reuse of construction materials. She also collaborated with various studios, including GON, specializing in renovations and interior design, and HDA, developing several rehabilitation projects in rural areas.
Currently, he practices architecture independently at his studio, LA OBRA XYZ, which focuses on residential renovation, emphasizing the restoration of traditional materials and systems. Furthermore, LA OBRA XYZ seeks collaboration with other creators, artisans, and specialists in the design and construction fields to achieve the best solutions tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
