Founded in 1999 by Martin Lesjak and Peter Schwaiger, INNOCAD architecture is an Austrian studio internationally recognized for its interdisciplinary work in architecture and interior design. With over 150 completed projects spanning residential, offi ce, hospitality, healthcare, mixed-use, education, public, and retail sectors, as well as urban planning, the f i rm creates meaningful, human-centered environments guided by the principle "work with your brain, act from your heart."
INNOCAD embraces a transdisciplinary mindset, collaborating with external partners, artists, designer, and scientists. The studio works closely with 13&9 Design and physicist Richard Taylor, founders of the ScienceDesignLab, to integrate scientifi c insights, including the positive effects of fractal patterns, into the built environment.
Their working philosophy, New Holism, harmonizes physical, social, and virtual dimensions to develop adaptive and responsible design solutions. This approach is refl ected in projects such as the FRACTAL CHAPEL, which was recognized at the World Architecture Festival 2025 in Miami, receiving the WAF Interiors Public Buildings 2025 Winner award as well as the World Interior of the Year 2025. INNOCAD’s commitment to quality and innovation has been recognized with international honors, including the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR) Award 2025.
