Founded in the Pacific Northwest, GO'C is a design-led architecture practice shaped by the interplay of rational thinking and contextual sensitivity. Our work spans residential, hospitality, commercial, and cultural projects, each informed by climate, landscape, and the character of its community and clients. We cultivate a collaborative design approach dedicated to producing architecture that is expressive, enduring, and deeply rooted in place.
Jon Gentry and Aimée O’Carroll founded the practice in 2012, guided by a commitment to design excellence and a deeply collaborative approach. Jon grew up in North Carolina, where early exposure to utilitarian structures shaped his interest in practical, resourceful design and a willingness to challenge conventions. Aimée grew up in the heart of London within a family of architects spanning three generations, where growing up within a family of architects spanning three generations fostered a lasting engagement with the built environment.
Together, our practice blends practicality with imagination, where careful analysis meets a spirit of exploration. Our process is rigorous and open, shaped by both knowledge and curiosity. The ambition behind our work is to expand the possibilities of architecture in service to clients, communities, cultures, and landscapes.
