Ghostframe is an architectural design practice dedicated to exploring the intersection of narrative architecture and illustration. Founded in Mérida, Yucatán, the studio positions itself as a creative platform where architecture is not only built form, but also a story told through space, light, and geometry.
The studio collaborates closely with Somos Casa, weaving domestic architecture into cultural narratives, and is led by Hiram Bolio, whose work bridges architectural design and visual storytelling. Ghostframe’s projects often embrace surreal inspiration, sculptural qualities, and a strong dialogue with vegetation and context — creating spaces that invite discovery and reflection.
With a growing presence in both built work and conceptual explorations, Ghostframe continues to expand its portfolio through collaborations, competitions, and experimental projects. Its ethos is rooted in the belief that architecture should be both functional and poetic, offering experiences that resonate beyond the material.
