Founded in Beijing in 2007 by Che Fei and Zhang Xuefeng, SuperCity Architecture has long focused on the development of urban and rural social spaces in China. They propose targeted architectural theories and strategies to address the evolution of urban and rural spaces, and develop their architectural practices based on these foundations.

Their practice can be divided into two dimensions: universality and specificity. In each architectural project, they strive to develop a universal architectural prototype, principle, or theory, reflecting on and answering the current challenges facing the development of urban and rural social spaces. Simultaneously, each architectural project is a specific practice tailored to a particular time and place.

This specificity is also reflected in treating the environment as the subject of spatial and temporal morphology, and proposing practical strategies for environmental architecture. Therefore, each architectural project possesses unique and irreplaceable characteristics.

SuperCity Architecture's architectural practice encompasses a wide range of types, including planning, architecture, renovation, interior design, landscape, and product design, with key areas including urban renewal, cultural buildings, preservation and renewal of historic buildings, and campus planning.
