Atelier 008 was founded by architect Jano Kukuľa in 2008, when, after an eight-year stay in Ireland, he decided to put his foreign experience to good use at home in Slovakia. We believe that even the smallest assignment deserves an architect. We value the trust that clients place in us by placing an order - regardless of whether it is a project worth thousands or millions of euros. With a view to creating a quality work, we strive for cultivated mutual communication and patience in listening and explaining.

Thanks to the diversity of assignments from our clients, we have a wide portfolio of successfully completed projects. Interiors, family houses, impressive villas, development projects, but also kindergartens, university buildings, healthcare facilities and a museum of modern art. A big topic in recent years has been reconstructions, which form - and probably will form - a significant part of our current production.

We know how to build "normal" houses and we have also created works that have been awarded by domestic and international experts. In 2014, Ján was nominated for the Crystal Wing in the field of architecture for his design for the completion of the Danubiana Museum, which also won the main prize in the Building of the Year 2014 competition and was nominated for the CE_ZA_AR award.
